The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation will host a lecture by Brad Kennedy on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Vietnam Era Education Center, Holmdel. Kennedy will discuss his novel Heroes or Something.
The suggested donation is $5, and attendees are asked to R.S.V.P. one week prior to the event.
Kennedy served in Vietnam in 1966-67. His book details the psychological journey of a fictional soldier’s tour of duty in Vietnam.
The educational center is off Garden State Parkway Exit 116. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
