Madison Park Little League will hold registration 6-8 p.m. Feb. 26 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Madison Park Little League Field House, Cheesequake Road, Parlin. Fees are $75 for a single player and $100 for a family. A $100 work bond per family is required. After March 13, a $25 late fee per player will be assessed. Middlesex County Department of Parks & Recreation seeks teams for its annual Board of Chosen Freeholders Basketball Tournament, which starts in early March. This year’s tournament will be held at the Middlesex County Vocational-Technical School, 21 Suttons Lane, Piscataway. This single-elimination tournament will consist of four divisions: boys and girls age 10 and under, age 12 and under, ages 12-14, and ages 15-17. Teams must have a minimum of five but no more than 20 participants. Registration is $50 per team. Rosters are due by Feb. 19. The Sayreville Leprechauns Football and Cheerleading Association will hold registration for the 2010 football and cheer season from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 27 and March 13 at the Mickey Sedlak Civic Center, Donlan Street, Sayreville. Registration is open to boys and girls ages 5-15. Fees are $75 for one child and $125 for two or more children, plus an additional $200 work bond. A copy of the child’s birth certificate and a recent photo (no sports or cheer) are also required. The cost of a football jersey, which will be sized at registration, is additional.
