‘Inventions of N.J.’ to address early radio

The East Brunswick Historical Society will present “A Glimpse of Early Radio Development,” the first installment in its “Inventions of New Jersey” series, 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.

Guest speakers Harry Klancer and Ray Chase of the New Jersey Antique Radio Club will present displays of antique radios and offer vintage sound clips, including the “War of the Worlds” broadcast, World War II announcements and the era’s popular music, and more.

The remaining programs in the series are set for 2-4 p.m. March 24, April 7, 14, 21, 28 and May 5 at the East Brunswick Historical Society, 78 Milltown Road.
