The Morgan-Parlin Panthers has joined theAmericanYouth Football League (AYF) and will hold registration 6-8 p.m. every Thursday through July 19 at Kennedy Park on Washington Road in Parlin, across from Sayreville War Memorial High School. Registration fees are $75 for one child, $100 for two children, and $125 for three or more children. The uniform fee is $85 for tackle and $50 for flag. Registration and uniform fees are due at registration. The cheer uniform fee is due at the time of sizing. (Pricing will be given at registration.) A wallet-size photo or smaller of the child will be needed. A $150 work bond and $100- per-book raffle money will be due July 21. For more information, email [email protected].

The Jersey Knights U-18 Mystic won the US Club-sponsored New Jersey Cup. The girls soccer club won a thriller in the final defeating US Parma in a shootout to win the New Jersey Championship.

The Mystic’s run through the tournament included wins against Toms River, South Jersey Barons, and the Freehold Shooting Stars. Jersey Knights Mystic is composed of high school seniors from North Brunswick, South Brunswick, Woodbridge, East Brunswick, Old Bridge, Middlesex and Somerset County.

The team is trained and coached by longtime Knights coach, Mike Kizoulis. The team is managed by Kathy Collins.

The Mystic players include Rebekah Poandl, Angie Lopez, Nicole Ninomiya, Kellee Baylis, Kirstin Figel, Kerriann Cahillane, Alex Chinich, Emily Cutler, Bridget Giovenco, Sarah Shemper, Natalie Norcutt, Megan Dunn, Courtney McKiernan, Shawna Grabowski, Jade Gonzales, Taylor Cioffi and Jennifer Collins.

The Old Bridge Little League will hold its third annual summer baseball camp Aug. 6-10 at the Old Bridge Little League, Route 516. The camp is open to youngsters ages 4-13. The full day camp ($190) will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The half-day camp ($150) is available from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Registration deadline is July 1. Rutgers University-Newark’s 11th annual summer basketball program for children ages 7-17. The camp will be offered July 9-13, July 23-27 and July 30- Aug. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early drop-off and late pick-up times are available.
