Does anything scream summer at the Jersey Shore more than fresh seafood?
The Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off will feature several seafood restaurants and eateries from the Jersey Shore. The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 16.
Monmouth Park celebrates the best the ocean has to offer at the annual two-day cook-off. Dine on everything from chowder, to lobster rolls, to some of the best crab cakes you’ve ever had.
The event features live music and the thoroughbred racing.
Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off vendors include Bahr’s Restaurant, Inc., Boondocks Fishery, Branches, Chip Stix, Enzo’s Deli, Ike’s Famous Crabcakes, Four Boys Concessions, Quenchers LLC, Simply Southern, Igloo Ice Cream Truck, Kona Ice, Maddalena’s Cheesecake Co., Mary Queen of Pork, Wild Bill’s Olde Fashioned Soda, Off the Hook Food Truck, Palm Restaurant Atlantic City, Point Lobster, and Station One Seafood.
Monmouth Park racetrack is located in Oceanport, off Garden State Parkway, Exit 105. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. both days. Admission is $3, and children age 12 and under are free. Food prices vary by vendor.
