Allaire Village Inc. will present concerts by the Sherman Brothers Band at 8 p.m. June 27 and Kate and Emily at 8 p.m. June 28 at the Allaire Village Chapel in Allaire State Park, Route 524 (Atlantic Avenue), Wall Township.
The Sherman Brothers, a five-piece band, will perform soft rock songs made famous by entertainers such as The Beatles, the Doobie Brothers, the Moody Blues and the Eagles.
Kate and Emily, from Philadelphia, will perform “coffeehouse classics,” a selection of folk music songs popular in the 1960s through the present, including vocal and instrumental songs made famous by Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls, Bob Dylan and Elton John.
Seating is limited and advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are $12 per person, all ages, and are available by calling the Allaire Village ticket office at 732-919- 3500. Proceeds from the concert will help Allaire Village Inc. continue its educational and interpretive programs in the Historic Village at Allaire.
