“Bird Feeding Station,” 10:30-11 a.m. – the public can join a naturalist at the bird feeding station in the exhibit room to view hungry migrant and resident birds.
“Reptile Roll Call,” 11-11:30 a.m. – an up-close look at live turtles and snakes.
“Turtle Feeding,” 1:30-2 p.m. – watch a naturalist and youth volunteers feed and care for a variety of turtles.
“Animal in Disguise,” 3-3:45 p.m. – a naturalist will explore how native snakes, turtles and fish use camouflage to survive.
Nature walks are conducted at 2 p.m. Each month has a specific topic. September is “Saltmarsh Month.”
