ABERDEEN — A vigil service for 17-year-old Chris Dhume, who died from meningitis last week, has been moved from Monday, Jan. 31, to Tuesday, Feb. 8, a spokeswoman for the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District said Friday.
Dhume, a Cliffwood resident and a senior at Matawan Regional High School (MRHS), passed away Jan. 22 from bacterial meningitis at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
Matawan Regional High School Principal Michele Ruscavage and a group of students are organizing the vigil, according to the district.
