Mrs. Bonacorda, 88, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 21, 2009, at The Manor, Freehold Township. She had lived in Italy, the Bronx and Brooklyn, N.Y., and the Rossmoor section of Monroe Township before settling in Freehold in 2008. Mrs. Bonacorda was a secretary for the Department of the Army at the Brooklyn Army Base until her retirement. She was a volunteer for P.S. 229 as well as nursing homes throughout Brooklyn. Mrs. Bonacorda was also active with the Rossmoor community. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; and a brother, James. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dennis Crivello of Millstone and Donna and Thomas Racioppi of Staten Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment in The Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
