Eric I. Abraham of Manalapan, a partner of the law firm Hill Wallack LLP, Princeton, has been selected to be among New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 2009 New Jersey Superlawyers Rising Stars list. Abraham, a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation Practice Group, concentrates his practice in business counseling and commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts, representing corporations, partnerships and individuals. In his community, Abraham is the chairman of the Western Monmouth Utilities Authority, a post he has held since joining the WMUA Board of Commissioners in 2000.
Allaire Village Inc. recently received a $10,000 arts and cultural grant from the Ocean First Foundation. Allaire Village Inc, is licensed by the state of New Jersey to operate the 40-acre, state-owned Historic Village at Allaire, the site of James P. Allaire’s Howell Iron Works Company in the 1830s. Allaire Village is able to present, throughout the year, many educational and interpretive programs. These programs are made possible by the support of private donations, membership fees, fundraising events, admission fees, and patronage of the general store and bakery. Meridian Occupational Health, a provider of medical care and rehabilitation for work-related injuries and illnesses, has recently relocated its Freehold office to Manalapan. The Champion honor denotes an employee of extraordinary merit who goes above and beyond the call of duty every day for his/her residents. Heim is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, who takes a lot of pride in her residents and gives them personal attention, according to her supervisors.
Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations will host its 2009 “Healthcare Perspectives” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 8 at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa, Long Branch. Keynote speaker will be Patricia Andriolo-Bull, director of Commonwealth Choice. She will present “Universal Healthcare: The Massachusetts Experience” and discuss her experiences as she managed the Massachusetts Health Care Reform, a modification that requires all residents of the state to have health insurance.
