The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore paid tribute to a select group of individuals and organizations during its annual Women of Distinction and Community Partners Gala, sponsored by Investors Bank.
The event was held in March 13 at Eagle Oaks Country Club, Howell.
Holly Boylan Flego, a fourth-generation owner and craft beer representative at Shore Point Distributing Co. Inc.; Serena DiMaso, a Monmouth County freeholder; Kerry E. Higgins, the municipal attorney for Freehold Borough; Elizabeth Williams-Riley, president and CEO for the American Conference on Diversity; Jennilee MeiTing Stocker, former Girl Scout and civic volunteer; and Meridian Health, John Lloyd, president and CEO, exemplify the Girl Scout mission of building courage, confidence and character through their personal and professional achievements, according to a press release.
“The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore provides our girls with tools and opportunities to develop their fullest potential. We cannot do that without role models right here in Monmouth and Ocean counties,” said Susan H. McClure, CEO of Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
“This year’s gala honorees show our Girl Scouts they can do anything they put their minds to. They inspire, teach and give back every day — precisely the skills we teach our girls. We thank them for fulfilling the Girl Scout mission and paving the way for future female leaders.”
