Mrs. Kennedy, 81, of Freehold, died Feb. 9, 2011 at home. She was born in the Sweetman’s Lane area of Manalapan. Mrs. Kennedy was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold, and attended Freehold High School. Prior to retiring, she was a telephone operator for over 40 years forAT&T, New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and Verizon, Freehold. Surviving are her husband, Colin T. Lancaster; three sons, Wayne, Kevin, and Kim Lancaster; a daughter, Sharon Roberts; two brothers, Jake and Leo Lamb; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
