Orders taken for 4-H
council’s seedling sale
The Monmouth County 4-H Teen Council is now accepting orders for its annual spring seedling sale of evergreen and deciduous seedlings.
Seedlings can be purchased by advanced orders only.
The deadline for orders is April 5.
Evergreen seedlings come in bundles of 25 of one variety. Colorado blue spruce, Douglas fir, Norway spruce and white pines are available.
All seedlings are 1-3 years old and approximately six to 24 inches tall.
Kousa Doug Wood Chinensis, Rem Amur honeysuckle and northern bayberry may also be purchased in bundles of five.
Pick-up date is April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 4-H office at 18 Court St., Freehold.
