Marlboro Township will hold its annual holiday lighting ceremony and festival Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. outside town hall in the municipal complex, off Wyncrest Road.
Presented by the Marlboro Recreation Department, the program will include the menorah and Christmas tree lighting ceremony, musical performances by Note-Able Brass and the Marlboro High School Jazz Ensemble, and a visit from Santa. Free refreshments will be served. In case of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.
The recreation department is holding its annual Warm Coats Drive and is participating in the Toys for Tots program. Coats may be dropped off in the lobby of the Recreation Community Center, 1996 Recreation Way (off Wyncrest Road). Toys for Tots donation bins are in the lobby of the township administration building, 1979 Township Drive, in the municipal complex. Items for either the coat or toy drive should be dropped off by Friday, Dec. 19. For more information, call the recreation department at (732) 617-0100.
