MONROE — New Jersey State Police and the Rutherford Police Department need the public’s help in locating a missing person who was last seen in Monroe Township.
Alfred “Fred” Fiume, a 53-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing 260 pounds and standing at 5-foot-10, did not show up for work this past Monday morning in Jamesburg. He was last seen his past Sunday, July 26 ,at 9:30 p.m. and his cellphone “pinged” on Gravel Hill Road in Monroe Township at 7:57 a.m. This past Tuesday, July 28, according to a Nixle alert issued by the New Jersey State Police.
Police believe Fiume, a Rutherford resident, might be operating a blue, 2007 Toyota Corolla with N.J. plates that read “C37ATM.” Investigators are asking members of the public with any information regarding Fiume’s whereabouts to contact either 911, the state police Missing Persons Unit at (609) 882-2000 ext. 2554 or the Rutherford Police Department at (201) 939-6000.
