June 7 will mark the debut of The Beach Beat, an online only publication that will cover the Jersey Shore communities of Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, Belmar, Lake Como, Ocean Grove, Avon, Spring Lake and Spring Lake Heights.
The Beach Beat will be published every Thursday at thebeachbeat.com and serve up articles about happenings at the Jersey Shore, including entertainment, dining, activities, local sports and news.
Greater Media Newspapers publishes 10 weekly newspapers in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties. The newspaper group’s 11th publication, the Woodbridge Sentinel, is an online-only publication that covers Woodbridge.
Amy Rosen has been named the editor of The Beach Beat. Rosen joined Greater Media Newspapers in 2002 as an editorial assistant. She has since gone on to write numerous feature stories and her well-received Around Town column.
Amy Rosen Rosen is a Jersey Shore aficionado who will tell the stories of the people, places and events that make the Shore a destination for throngs of tourists, as well as the home of thousands of year-round residents.
