SAYREVILLE — Raritan Bay Federal Credit Union recently raised over $3,000 to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
A team from Raritan Bay FCU walked in this year’s annual MS Walk, held April 10 at Babbage Park in North Brunswick. The team’s goal was to raise $1,000 for this special event, but its members more than tripled that.
Research for MS has made some incredible advances recently, but the world can still only offer disease management drugs and therapies to the 400,000 people living with it in America.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research than any other private organization. In addition to supporting studies aimed at revealing the cause and course of the disease, the society provides much-needed education, programs and services to those affected by MS, including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the health care professionals who work with them.
