Mrs. Sednew, 81, formerly of South River, died Sept. 15, 2008, at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, N.Y. Born in Russia, she immigrated to South River in 1950 before moving to New York. Mrs. Sednew was predeceased by her husband, Masej Sednew in 2001. Surviving are a son, Walter; two daughters, Irene Eaglesfield and Tanya Azarchs; a sister, Irina Pozniak; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, followed by service at St. Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church, with burial at St. Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River.
