Mr. Henderson, 83, of Holmdel, died Sept. 15, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was an elevator operator at 120 Broadway, New York City, for 39 years. He was predeceased by four sisters, Lily, Loretta, Margaret and Catherine; and a son-in-law, Floyd E. Kemble, in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Angela Mazza Henderson; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William J. and Kim Henderson of Vineland, and Patrick Henderson of Phoenix; two daughters and sons-in-law, Johanna Kemble of Parlin, and Maryellen and Robert L. Dispenza of Hazlet; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Entombment followed at the church’s mausoleum. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
