The Freehold Art Society will hold a meeting and demonstration at 7 p.m. July 24 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, Symmes Drive, Manalapan.
After a brief business meeting, artist Anne Hruza will demonstrate “Quick and Easy Watercolors.”
Using a waterproof pen and watercolors, a sketch can be made quickly and serve as a study for a studio painting, become a treasured present or a charming keepsake, according to a press release.
Hruza invites those who want to participate to bring a piece of watercolor paper and a fine, or ultra-fine Sharpie pen to the meeting that is open to the public.
