An updated version of the New Jersey Citizen’s Guide to Government has been made availabilty the League of Women Voters. The Guide contains information about registration and voting procedures as well as political parties, county and state government, the New Jersey Court system and legislative districts.
The Citizen’s Guide explains how to address elected officials and whom to contact about legislation, election law enforcement and citizen’s complaints. In addition, it contains information about state administrators and lists the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the N.J. congressional delegation and all state legislators.
To order a copy of the Guide from the East Windsor-Hightstown branch of the League, send $3 to Judy Watkins, 68 Meadow Drive, Hightstown, N.J. 08520. Please indicate if you want to have the Guide to include a calendar of Major holidays and dates helpful to voters.
