Carolyn LaRue Orr
Carolyn LaRue Orr, 83, died Dec. 27 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Born in Hopewell, she was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Central High School in Pennington.
She worked with the U.S. Postal Service in the Hopewell Post Office for many years. Mrs. Orr was a member of the Friendship Club, the 76ers, Montgomery Township Club and the Leisure Club.
Wife of the late Harold B. Orr, she is survived by six cousins, Dorothy Burget, Lois Cromwell, Beatrice Hall, Ruth Hill, Mae Vogt and Jack Wykoff; and a nephew, Terry Secor.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cromwell Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell, with the Rev. George Lynch of Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Carl G. Voorhees
Carl G. Voorhees, 76, of Kings Highway South, East Greenville, Pa., died Dec. 30 at Praxis Nursing Home, Easton, Pa.
Born in Hopewell, he was a self-employed farmer in East Greenville, Pa., from 1967 until retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, the Pennsylvania Farmers Association, and a member of the East Greenville (Pa.) Fire Company.
He is predeceased by brothers, Edgar, Frederick, Abram, and James Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Geisenhoner) Voorhees; two daughters and son-in-laws, Carla and Grant Gaugler of Macungie, Pa., Diana and William O’Neal of Durham, N.C.; one daughter, Martha Voorhees of Allentown, Pa.; one sister, Eleanor Clausen of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, Pa. The Rev. Todd Snyder, pastor of Palm Schwenkfelder Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery, Palm, Pa.
Friends may call 10-11 a.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.

Alyce Lyke Wagner
Alyce Lyke Wagner, 87, died Dec. 25 at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Johnstown, N.Y., she lived in Rutland, Vt., 26 years before moving to Pennington 11 years ago.
She was a member of the League of Women Voters in Rutland, the Johnstown chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and Pennington Women’s Club.
Sister of the late Kenneth Lyke and Elizabeth M. Ebeling, former wife of the late John Churchill and wife of the late William E. Wagner, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, William L. and Cherie Wagner of Wiggins, Miss., and Jeffrey C. Wagner of Enfield, Conn.; a daughter, Susan Wright of Pennington; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Jan. 12 at Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with David Carlton officiating.
Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours.

Joyce Dey Cole
Joyce Dey Cole, 79, died Dec. 20 at home.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Yardley, Pa., 47 years. She graduated from Pennington High School and received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Trenton State College. Mrs. Cole played many instruments and was director of music and art therapy at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital; director of music education at Trenton Junior High 4 and in Somerset County; and director of music at Ewing Presbyterian Church, First Methodist Church of Trenton and Yardley United Methodist Church. She co-owned King Cole’s Treasures, an antique dealership in Lambertville,, and regularly displayed antiques at shows in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina. She was a member of VFW Post 6393 Ladies Auxiliary of Yardley and a Boy Scout den mother in Yardley.
She is survived by her husband, John B. Cole Jr.; a son, Richard H. Cole of Yardley; a daughter, Mary Catherine Reilly of Hatfield; and two grandchildren, Robert Lloyd and Catherine Elizabeth Reilly.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at Hutchinson Memorial Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville.

Cynthia D. Crum
Cynthia D. Crum, 84, died Dec. 27 at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she lived in the Harbourton area more than 35 years.
She had attended Trenton-area business schools for post-secondary education. Mrs. Crum was a member of Living Water Lutheran Church, Flemington, and served on many of its councils. She was a member of the International Federation of Racing Homing Pigeons and the American Union of Racing Homing Pigeons. She volunteered more than 35 years with Helene Fuld Medical Center, Trenton, and enjoyed gardening.
Daughter of the late Guy K. and Julia H. Logan Dean and wife of the late George C. Crum Sr., she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harry G. and Kathleen Snook of Flemington; a stepson and daughter-in-law, George C. and Carol Crum of Carbondale, Colo.; two sisters, Louisa Bonnet of Freehold and Julia Stewart of Munster, Ind.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral was Monday at Titusville United Methodist Church with the Revs. William H. Jacobsen and Richard Garrison, pastor of Living Water Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial was in Titusville Methodist Cemetery.

Dorothy Nevius Boyer
Dorothy R. Nevius Boyer, 88, died Dec. 25 at The Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton Borough.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Pennington area resident and attended Pennington and Hopewell schools.
She was a member of Bethel AME Church, Pennington, and its Usher, Stewardess, Trustee and Missionary boards. Mrs. Boyer was vice president of the Pennington African Cemetery Association.
Wife of the late Shirley "Chip" Boyer, mother of the late Allan B. Boyer and sister of the late Lester Nevius, Edna Clark, Hazel True and Pauline "Peggy" Hooper, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Paul Wood of Levittown, Pa.; a granddaughter, Jill C. Boyer, and two grandsons, Cole A. and Jacob A. Boyer, all of Pennington; a brother, Earle Nevius, and a sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Albert Witcher, all of Hopewell; a sister-in-law, Alice Nevius of Trenton; a special friend, Mabel Sample of Pennington; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral was Monday at Bethel AME Church, with the Rev. Tom Hills officiating.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.
Russell W. Robson
Russell W. Robson, 52, died Friday at Capital Health System at Mercer hospital, Trenton.
Born in Newark, he lived in Pennington since 1975.
Mr. Robson owned Bridge Automotive, an auto collision repair shop in Pennington that he founded in 1975. He was a member and instructor of the National Ski Patrol, and a member and past president of the Automotive Association of Service Providers/Garden State. He also was a certified scuba diver.
Son of the late Raymond W. Robson, he is survived by his wife, Luci Stefanelli Robson; his mother, Priscilla Robson of Yardley, Pa.; three brothers, Raymond J. of Bristol, Pa., Daniel C. of New Zealand and Clifford M. of Morrisville, Pa.; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Tony and Linda Stefanelli of Pennington and Carmen and Arlene Stefanelli of Princeton; nephews and nieces; two grandnieces, Haley and Summer; and a grandnephew, Maxwell.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Princeton. Burial was private.

Dominick Vetri
Dominick Vetri, 89, died Dec. 24 at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown, Pa.
Born in Sicily, Italy, he lived in Passaic 45 years and Denville 25 years before moving to Titusville. He was a retired machinist with Kearfott Aeronautics Corp., Little Falls.
Son of the late Felicia and Carmela Domino Vetri and husband of the late Marie Vetri and Anne Vetri, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wallace J. and Rachael Vetri of Titusville and Dominick R. Vetri and his partner Douglas DeWitt of Brownsville, Ore.; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Furey of Orchard Park, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Saturday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with Monsignor Hugh Ronan, pastor of Incarnation Roman Catholic Church in Ewing, officiating.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.

Robert W. Craver Sr.
Robert W. Craver Sr., 60, died Dec. 21 at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He worked with Mercer County Special Services School.
Son of the late William and Florence Cochran Craver, he is survived by his wife, Deanna Bartlett-Craver; a daughter, Lorrie Wallace of Langhorne, Pa.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. Jr. and Elizabeth Craver of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; three stepsons, John, Joseph and Michael Bartlett, all of Trenton; his mother-in-law, Florence Brachelli of Trenton; a sister and brother-in-law, Geri and Ray Arnold of Hamilton; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rose and Doug Tkacs of Hopewell and Pat and Ted Willever of Florida; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Dec. 24 at Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square.
Entombment was in Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum, Hamilton.
Grace Wesley
Grace S. Wesley, 79, died Dec. 24 at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Magog, Quebec, Canada, she lived in Trenton 53 years.
She was a homemaker. Ms. Wesley was a past president of Blessed Sacrament Altar Rosary Society, Trenton. She was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Daughter of the late Joachim and Marie Reine Sevigny Laporte, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert J. Wesley of West Trenton; four daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and James Gillespie of Ewing, Lynette and Jim Vicari of Stockton, Mary Ellen and Al Sosnoski of Pennington and Beth and Mike Lee of Long Island, N.Y.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Wesley and Janet Diamond of Trenton and Neil and Martha Wesley of Pennington; nine grandchildren, Katie, Aaron, Matt, Chopper, Scott, Gracie, Rachel, Cameron and Jillian; and two other family members, Carol Morris of Maryland and Frances Barker of Virginia.
The funeral was held Friday from M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton. Entombment was held in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.
