WHEATON, Ill. Mary (Kerzic) Chernesky died Friday, March 29,at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Ill. She was 88.
She lived in Manville most of her life, moving to Toms River in 1979. After her late husband, Watts, died, she moved to to Wheaton, Ill.
Surviving are a son, Patrick Kerzic of Morganville; three daughters, Jean Stubits of Glen Ellen, Ill., Mary Ann Gibus of Woodridge, Ill., and Sharon Hammesfahr of Wyoming, Del.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 2 from the Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Sacred Heart Church in Manville. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Charities of the Metuchen Diocese.
