POLICE BLOTTER

   Norris Middleton, 35, of Bloomingdale Drive was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of the controlled dangerous substance cocaine on June 17.
   According to police, Mr. Middleton was stopped at approximately 10: 20 p.m. on Auten Road for driving in an erratic manner. Following a field sobriety test, Mr. Middleton was subsequently charged and taken into custody.
   He was later released pending an appearance in municipal court.

Christopher Klug, 18, of Marshal Road was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous substance — marijuana — in a vehicle and several other motor vehicle violations on May 25.
   According to police, Mr. Klug was charged at about midnight on Valinor Road near Hunt Club Road following a motor vehicle accident that he was involved in. In addition to driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance , Mr. Klug was charged with underage driving while intoxicated, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to report an accident and failure to keep right.

Anthony Iafelice, 18, of New Brunswick was charged with shoplifting and possession of the controlled dangerous substance cocaine on June 13.
   According to police, Mr. Iafelice allegedly took 11 DVDs from the K mart on Route 206. Police said Mr. Iafelice removed the packages from the DVDs in order to remove the security tags from the items, and then exited the store.
   Mr. Iafelice was confronted by a store employee after exiting the store. Mr. Iafelice did not comply with the employee’s instructions to return to the store.
   Police were notified and Mr. Iafelice was charged shortly thereafter and remanded to the county jail pending a municipal court appearance.

William Moccio, 44, of Manor Drive was charged with driving while intoxicated on June 16, according to police.
   Mr. Moccio was stopped at approximately midnight on Amwell Road near Manor Drive for driving in an erratic manner. Following a field sobriety test, Mr. Moccio was subsequently charged and taken into custody.
   He was later released pending an appearance in municipal court.
