Mary F. Carney
Mary F. Carney, 69, of Columbus died July 18 at Kindred Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in the Bronx, N.Y. she resided in Setauket, N.Y. before moving to Columbus two years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Carney Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Carney of Annapolis, Md. and William and Kelley Carney of Manhattan, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Ryan and Katherin Carney and two sisters, Ann Stanton and Pat Alvarez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Church, 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Friends may call today, Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
Giavanna Dorothea Bruno
CHESTERFIELD Giavanna Dorothea Bruno, infant daughter of Arthur H. and Maria R. McMullen Bruno, died July 16 at Capital Health Systems at Mercer.
She was granddaughter of the late Joseph Francis and Dorothea M. Bruno.
In addition to her parents, Giavanna is survived by her maternal grandmother Eileen McMullen and her maternal grandfather James McMullen; her paternal great-grandmother Martha Patterson; two aunts, Debbie Raspatello and JoAnn Bruno; two uncles, William McMullen and his wife Kelly, and Joseph F. Bruno Jr. and his wife Dawn; and four cousins, Louis and Christina Raspatello, and Erin and Morgan McMullen. A private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Raymond C. Allen
BORDENTOWN Raymond C. Allen, 76, of Clearwater, Fla. died July 15 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Bordentown he had resided in Florida for several years.
He was a retired master carpenter and was a Navy veteran of World War II. The son of the late Clarence and Agnes Ledger Allen and the husband of the late Mary Allen, he is survived by two daughters, Yvonne LaEzza of Bordentown Township and Anita Allen-Goss of Mount Vernon, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Jean Sexton of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, James Allen of Bordentown City; a sister, Gloria Parker of Colorado and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held today, Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Columbus Cemetery under the direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home of Bordentown.
Fay L. Smith
BENSALEM, Pa. Fay L. Smith (nee Butler), 92, died July 13 at her residence in Columbus.
Born in Indiana, Mrs. Smith loved gardening, cooking and her grand- and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the International Rock and Mineral Club and an international sand collector and artist, a volunteer for the Bucks County Rescue Squad, Lower Bucks Hospital and Wood River Village where she resided for over 10 years.
She was the wife of the late Albert C. Smith; the loving mother of Albert D. Smith of Key Largo, Fla. and Faye L. Hart of Columbus; the grandmother of Craig Smith, Dawn Alger, Tracy LaSalvia, Tammy Purdy and John Tajc; great-grandmother of Ray, Ketih, Kyle, Justen, Aleesha, Frankie, Nathan, Brianna, Billy, Carly, Scott, Jack and Matthew; and sister of Fern Clark of Victorville, Calif.
Interment will be private.

Agnes Ference
RIVERSIDE Agnes Ference, 81, of Riverside died July 12 in Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, Willingboro.
Ms. Ference was born in Florence Township. She was the daughter of the late George and Anna Breza Ference.
Agnes resided at The Crossings for the past 2 ½ years, previously resided in Burlington City for 30 years.
She was a retired dietary aide, employed by Children’s Home, Mount Holly.
Ms. Ference was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling and AARP.
She is survived by brother, George Ference of Levittown, Pa.; nieces and nephews; special friends, Miss Mary Yurcisin and Mrs. Mary Yurcisin of Roebling.
Funeral Mass was Wednesday at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Norman Avenue, Roebling.
Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Gertrude Gelentser
Gertrude "Darleen" Gelentser died July 11. Born on May 23, 1933, to Arthur and Gertrude Gelentser, she was a former Bordentown resident and attended high school there. She was a devoted sister and beloved aunt.
She loved arts, crafts, animals, and her schnauzer "Shadow." She was retired from J.L. Chein of Burlington. She was survived by her brother Arthur David Gelentser; her niece and goddaughter Trudy Polom and husband Frank; her niece Carrie Groff and husband Bill; her nephews, David Gelentser, Daniel Gelentser and his wife Heidi; several grandnieces and nephews. She was also survived by stepmother Rose Gelentser and half-brother William White and his family, both of Bordentown.
The family will hold a memorial service at the Yardville Presbyterian Church, 12 Yardville-Hamilton Square Road in Yardville at 10 a.m. on July 30.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
