The accounting and consulting firm of WithumSmith & Brown (WS&B) has announced shareholders Barry D. Shapiro and James J. Decker have been appointed to serve as treasurer and assistant treasurer, respectively, for Ronald McDonald House, Long Branch.
Each will serve a two-year term ending March 1.
A shareholder in the Red Bank office, Shapiro has served as treasurer of Ronald McDonald House since 1989.
The West Long Branch resident has more than 30 years’ public accounting experience, and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Rider University, Lawrenceville.
Decker, Belle Meade, will serve his first term as assistant treasurer. Based in WS&B’s New Brunswick office, he has more than 18 years’ accounting experience, and received his bachelor of science degree in accounting at the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
