Marcia Dey Powell

   Marcia Dey Powell, 75, died Jan. 20 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
    Born in Grand Rapids, Mich., she graduated from the University of Maryland and had lived in the Hopewell Township area for 26 years.
   She taught at the former Miss Mason’s School and had been active in The Princeton University Art Museum Docent Association and the Princeton Present Day Club. She also was a former president of The Women’s College Club of Princeton and chairwoman of the club’s Memorial Education Loan Fund.
      She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William K. Powell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karin and Charles Riffle of West Bloomfield, Mich., Nancy and Douglas Hartzog of Lexington, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathleen Powell of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren, Craig Hartzog, Charlotte Anne Hartzog Kermode, Brian Powell, Kelly Powell and Meghan Powell; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzanne and Leslie Peppin-Palmer of Bluffton, S.C., Mary Claire and Charles Eastman of Atlanta, Ga., and Betsy and Skip Hutchison of Alameda, Calif.
      A private service was held by the family.
