Sept. 15 at 2:30 a.m., Thomas A. Fisher III, 25, of Bordentown, N.J., was charged with drunken driving.
Mr. Fisher was stopped on Route 29 for failure to keep right, police said. Several times, he swerved into the other lane, police said.
He also was charged with reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol is his vehicle.
He was released without bail.
Sept. 16 at about 3:30 a.m., Michael J. Williams Jr., 49, of Trenton was arrested on an outstanding motor vehicle warrant from Hamilton Township for $632 for driving while his license was suspended.
Police stopped Mr. Williams on Route 29 after a computer check revealed his license was suspended, police said.
He was charged again with driving while his license was suspended and turned over to Hamilton police.
Between Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., the Homestead Farmers Market on North Main Street was broken into and an undisclosed amount of cash taken, police said.
Sept. 13 at 2:45 p.m., there was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Street and Upper Mountain roads.
A vehicle driven by Eleanor L. Lawry, 84, of Countryside Circle, New Hope, stopped at the stop sign on Upper Mountain Road and didn’t see a vehicle coming north on Street Road, driven by Elena N. Harris, 33, of Wynfield Lane, New Hope, police said.
Ms. Lawry pulled into the intersection and hit Ms. Harris’ vehicle, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Sept. 13 at 3:55 p.m., there was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 263 and Sugan Road.
A vehicle driven by Kearsten J. McConnell, 23, of Constitution Avenue, Doylestown, Pa., had stopped at the stop sign on Sugan Road at Route 263, reportedly looked both way, went into the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by Lorraine A. Biamonte, 41, of River Road, New Hope, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Sept. 12 at 3 p.m., there was $150 worth of DVDs stolen from a business in the Logan Square Shopping Center.
Two subjects were seen getting into a late model Honda Prelude with a New Hampshire registration after being chased from the store by store management, police said.
Monday at 4:15 p.m., there was a reported theft of jewelry from a residence in the Carversville area.
The theft is believed to have happened over the past three weeks. The victim is preparing a list of items taken, but, at present, about 12 items are missing, police said.
Tuesday, Solebury and Newtown police did a surprise truck inspection at routes 202 and 179 from 2 to 7 a.m.
The inspection resulted in a number of trucks being taken out of service for equipment, driver’s license and overweight violations.
Solebury and Newtown police have been working jointly for the past two years in an effort to keep commercial vehicles safe.
Both police departments are members of the Central Bucks Commercial Vehicle Inspection Team.
