LITTLETON, Colo. Edward A. Iskra died April 12 at Swedish Medical Center in Eaglewood, Colo. He was 92.
He was born in South Amboy and lived in Manville for 58 years before relocating to Littleton in 1972.
Mr. Iskra was employed for 34 years in the Industrial Photography Department of Johns-Manville located in Manville and later transferred to the J-M World Headquarters in Denver. He was also a freelance photographer and won numerous photography awards.
He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army in the Pacific during World War II from 1941-1945.
He was a life member of the Thomas J. Kavanaugh Post 2290 VFW in Manville.
He was active in Manville Little League baseball and Pop Warner football.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine (Ruk) Iskra; one son, Michael of Bridgewater; two daughters, Mona Wilczek of Littleton and Patty Hermann of Tucson, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted April 21 from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
