The Princeton SCORE chapter was named chapter of the year for the third year in a row among all New Jersey chapters by the national SCORE organization.
The chapter had a record setting 1,898 clients in the past 12 months. In addition, in 2007 Princeton SCORE started a new activity where a select group of SCORE counselors with experience in sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and technology to work on-site with companies with annual revenues of $1 million or more. This new activity is called the Existing Business Counseling (EBC) activity.
The Princeton SCORE chapter has 27 mostly retired business executives and business owners who counsel individuals who are considering starting a new business, or are in business and are seeking help. All SCORE counseling is free, and all counseling is confidential. Princeton SCORE counsels one-on-one with individuals in morning and evening sessions at the Princeton Public Library, the Mercer County Connection in Hamilton, and the Middlesex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
