Is your pet pooch looking to tie the knot? There’s still time to register your four legged bride or groom at Fidosfestivalusa.com to participate in a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ attempt—the largest dog wedding ceremony ever. And if your pet hasn’t met the right mate, no problem. Go to Pooch Partners on the Fido’s Festival USA® website and upload a photo, check out the available pups, and propose. Dogs suffering commitment issues may choose to play the field until they find their match at the festival.
The wedding will take place during the annual Fido’s Festival USA® event at the Salem County Fairgrounds in Woodstown, NJ on Saturday August 29 at 2pm. A complimentary wedding treat and marriage certificate will be offered to all participants. There will be some famous canine’s getting hitched at the festival. Elvis of the reality TV show “Greatest American Dog” and Niki star of film and TV will tie the knot. Even Elwood “America’s Ugliest Dog” will give up his bachelor status.
Fido’s Festival USA® is a three-day event filled with vendors and activities for dogs and their families. In keeping with this year’s “Tropical Pooch Paradise” theme, canine contests will include Beach Comber Costume contests, and Lil’ Surfer Dude(ettes) Races, to name a few. Dog owners can shop for innovative dog products as well as enjoy a variety of foods for humans. Several dog rescues, celebrities, dock diving, agility course, lure racing, fly ball demonstrations, training demonstrations, and presentations by pet experts will round out the fun. Camping options are offered on site.
