The Whimsical Witches of Crosswicks Annual Ball will be held this year on Friday, Oct. 30, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Crosswicks Firehouse. Tickets $10 per witch. All proceeds for the event are donated to a local charity. Remember this is a girl’s night only. BYOB and bring a snack to share. Be sure to wear your best witch hat. The Chesterfield Township Athletic Association is now accepting registrations for Youth Basketball in the following age brackets: Kindergarten (co-ed), 1st/2nd grades; 3rd/4th grades; 5th/6th grades. Registrations will be conducted exclusively on-line at ctaasports.countmein.com. Individuals who do not have Internet access may contact Greg Hessinger, CTAA Basketball Commissioner, at 610-4919. The registration period will close on Oct. 30. Also, any individuals, organizations or companies who wish to sponsor a team for $250 may contact the CTAA at [email protected].
The Union Fire Company No. 1 Pancake Breakfast will be held 7 – 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Crosswicks Firehouse. Everyone is invited, bring your friends and family and enjoy a few flapjacks and some breakfast sausage. All you can eat pancakes and sausage, orange juice, coffee. Ticket prices are adults $5 and kids under 12 $3.50. Union Fire Company No. 1 Pancake Breakfast are held on the first Sunday of the month expect for July and August. The Chesterfield Hose Company District No. 2 meeting will be held 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at the Chesterfield Firehouse.

The Chesterfield Township Public Education Fund meeting will be held 8 p.m., Nov. 4 at the Chesterfield Township Elementary School.
The Chesterfield Township Historical Society is looking for historical photos of Chesterfield Township. Do you have any old photo of events, old businesses, community events, farms or important people? Photos will be scanned and returned to owners. Photos are being collected for a possible future book about Chesterfield Township.
The Nature Nuts, new 4-H Club will be meeting in Chesterfield Township. The Nature Nuts are an Environmental Science Club for youth in grades 4 – 12. They will be learning about different ecosystems, wildlife, fish, birds, trees, plants, soil, insects, renewable energy, recycling and more. They will do community service projects, field trips to various nature centers, and have guest speakers. The club will meet once a month at Windswept Farm in Chesterfield Township.
