I am writing to support the Democratic Candidates for Lawrence Township Council, Greg Puliti and Jim Kownacki . Both are committed to maintaining the highest values and ethics for the residents of Lawrence Township. I worked with Mr. Puliti in his capacity as a mayor and councilmen for eight years as we served together on Township Council to improve the quality of life for the residents of Lawrence Township. He brings integrity and a commitment to serving all residents of Lawrence Township. On council, he always based his decisions on his personal convictions and not political affiliations.
I witnessed the tireless commitment of the Jim Kownacki in his capacity as a vice chairperson and Planning Board member as we served together on the Lawrence Township Planning Board to make the appropriate decisions that protected the integrity of the master plan and zoning ordinances.
It is important that Mr. Puliti and Mr. Kownacki are elected to serve on Lawrence Township Council to ensure that Town Council keeps its commitment to revitalize Alternate Route 1 and Route 206 (Lawrence Road) and the transparency of local government. They have the experience, dedication, and knowledge to protect the legacy of previous councils to maintain the tax rate, provide quality services to the residents and make the tough decisions that will preserve the history of Lawrence Township. Their leadership will preserve Lawrence Township as one of the most respected municipalities in the State of New Jersey for many generations to enjoy.
