EASTAMPTON — The Fall Foliage Family Float Festival is not just an impressive example of alliteration, but a unique opportunity to enjoy the Historic Smithville Park’s natural beauty.
The event, scheduled for Oct. 20, includes canoe and kayak cruises down the Rancocas Creek.
Canoes and kayaks will launch between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Meanwhile a festival, featuring hayrides, face painting, art exhibits, games, magic and scarecrows on parade, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Also at the event, a big screen broadcast of the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys game will be featured. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The park is located on 803 Smithville Rd., Eastampton. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be moved to Oct. 27. Light rain could cancel some activities.
