COUNTY: CPR classes offered

Burlington County officials would like to invite residents to participate in CPR courses offered at the county Emergency Services Training Center.

WESTAMPTON — Burlington County officials would like to invite residents to participate in CPR courses offered at the county Emergency Services Training Center.
   The CPR course, offered by the Basic Life Course Healthcare Providers, teaches the life-saving skill for victims of all ages, how to use a automated external defibrillator on adults and children and the relieving of foreign body airway obstructions in both responsive and non-responsive victims.
   The course is designed for healthcare providers who care for patients in a wide variety of settings – both in and out of the hospital environments.
   Classes have been scheduled for Oct. 17, Nov. 21 and Dec. 5. All classes take place from 8 a.m. to noon.
   The cost of the course is $55 and pre-registration is mandatory. The training center is located at 53 Academy Drive in Westampton.
