An assortment of cosmetics valued at $218 was reported stolen from the Bath and Body Works store at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 8:10 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. Aug. 19.
Perfume valued at $852 was stolen from the Bath and Body Works store at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:32 p.m. Aug. 19. Three women entered the store, split up and began walking around the store. Two of the women tried to return merchandise, while the third woman shoplifted the bottles of perfume.
Brandon Grybowski, 18, of Eric Court, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 19 after police responded to a call from a Shirley Lane resident that there was an odor of burned marijuana coming from a neighboring townhouse.
Flemica Willis, 21, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after the driver of the car in which she was riding was stopped for speeding on Princeton Avenue at 11:47 p.m. Aug. 19.
Numerous bottles of perfume, valued at $1,064, were reported stolen from Victoria’s Secret at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 2:37 p.m. Aug. 20. The suspects were described as a male, about 30 to 40 years old and standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds, and a female about 20 to 25 years old.
The woman had a bag and put several bottles of perfume in her bag and then handed it to him. She stood in line at the cash register line as if she was going to buy something, and then got out of line and left the store.
Jewelry valued at about $4,000, plus loose change, were reported stolen from an Anthony Lane residence that was burglarized between 6:50 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. Aug. 20. The burglars, who forced open the front door, ransacked the house.
A 14-year-old Hamilton Township girl was charged with shoplifting $164 worth of cosmetics from Sephora at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 8:35 p.m. Aug. 20.
Trevor Malcolm-Hayle, 22, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting clothing and other items valued at $237 from Macy’s, where he was employed, at 11:57 p.m. Aug. 22.
He was observed retrieving a candy bar, clothing and a belt from underneath the cash register and put them in a bag and leave at the end of his shift. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that he had allegedly stolen other items valued at a combined $1,134 during the past two weeks.
Angelina Gonnella, 22, of Lebanon, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (a shoestring and a baggy) and Tommaso Troia, 32, of Whitehouse Station, was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia (an empty baggy and a shoestring) at 9:29 p.m. Aug. 23.
Police were called to investigate a suspicious car in Lot G at the Quaker Bridge Mall, and discovered an orange hypodermic needle cap outside of the car. A search of the car revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A Stratford Drive residence was burglarized between 7 p.m. Aug. 23 and 12:09 a.m. Aug. 24. The burglar forced open a rear door and ransacked the house, but it is not yet known what was taken.
Two 15-year-old Princeton girls were charged with receiving stolen property and possession of burglar tools (scissors) at 3:04 p.m. Aug. 24 after they were observed in the Garage store at the Quaker Bridge Mall, removing price tags from items.
The girls were found to be in possession of items from J.C. Penney, H&M, Victoria’s Secret and Forever 21, valued at $1,250, that did not have price tags on them.
Jewelry and purses worth more than $6,000 were reported stolen from a Creekside Court residence between 10 a.m. Aug. 22 and 8:26 p.m. Aug. 25. There was no sign of forced entry.
Someone set fire to a box spring that was leaning against a cinder block wall near Building 4 on Town Court North at the Avalon Run rental apartment complex at 12:10 a.m. Aug. 25. Police put out the fire with a fire extinguisher and searched the area, but no one was found.
