LAWRENCE — After three meetings that began in March 2015, the Lawrence Township Board of Education (BOE) and the Lawrence Township Principals and Supervisors Association (LTPSA) reached a tentative agreement on June 15. LTPSA represents the district’s principals, assistant principals, supervisors, and athletic director. The current contract expires on June 30.
Settlement details will be released once both parties review and ratify the agreement, according to a school district announcement.
“The Board Negotiations Committee is thrilled to have reached a tentative settlement with LTPSA last night,” Laura Waters, BOE committee chair, said. “The process was congenial, professional, and fair, and we’d like to thank the LTPSA Negotiations Committee for their professionalism and dedication to our children.”
“The LTPSA will present specifics of the agreement to the membership for ratification shortly,” stated Yvette Panasowich, LTPSA committee chair. “The process was truly collaborative with concessions and agreements being made on both sides.”
