Rosh Hashanah begins the evening of Sunday, Sept. 13, as we welcome in 5776. By the way, you have until Sept. 3 to get in your New Year Grams.
The Board of Rabbis is sponsoring S’lihot Night at Beth El, featuring musician Ami Yares. His music merges his Jersey roots into a fusion of Israeli and Arab cultures. Schmooze and refreshments begin Saturday, Sept. 5, at 8:30 p.m.
The Beth El Men’s Club has a busy year, starting with Sukkah building on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 9:45 a.m. The annual kickoff breakfast is Sunday, Sept. 20.
The Sukkah Hop is Monday, Sept. 28, and will take place on the east side of Dutch Neck Road. Contact the synagogue if you want your Sukkah included.
Vacation may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t think about it one last time. Happy Hour for the Tiki Bar Shabbat is at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, with services at 7 p.m. Please RSVP by Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Tired of being on the sidelines when everyone is out there dancing? You don’t have to go a dance studio. A night of Israeli dancing will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Want to make a difference without having to go to monthly meetings? Beth El is looking for a social media coordinator, so why don’t you turn your Facebook and Twitter time into something that can help the synagogue.
