WEST WINDSOR: Marathe will bring fresh view to council

Donna M. Ritz, West Windsor
Hemant Marathe is running for a seat on the West Windsor Township Council. There is no better news out there for West Windsor residents.
I have lived in West Windsor for over 25 years and was employed by the WW-P Regional School District during the years that Mr. Marathe was on the school board and during his tenure as president of the school board, and his leadership brought an approach to issues that really earned him the respect and love of those of us impacted by the decisions made during those years.
Mr. Marathe’s leadership style never focused on any one group unilaterally, but rather he had a larger view of what was happening, what was wanted and needed, and what the impact of acting and not acting would be. He understood that the district’s primary function is to serve the students, no question, and he also realized that the teachers, the administrators, the community, and the taxpayers were all factors that needed to be considered.
How amazing would it be for us to have a Township Council with that same comprehensive view? How amazing would it be to have Mr. Marathe’s vast knowledge added to the leadership we have already had to turbo charge what is possible for West Windsor?
I have every faith that Mr. Marathe will bring a fresh view to West Windsor, and that he will look at individual issues with a new perspective, and with respect to how to bring changes that will produce sustainable, long term, positive results. We trusted Mr. Marathe with decisions involving our children and our school district for over a decade, so why not capitalize on that leadership and his ability to shape our township’s future.
Hemant Marathe for West Windsor Township Council. Yes! Yes! Yes!
