PRINCETON: PHS to induct Hall of Fame class

The Princeton High School Athletic Hall of Fame will hold its 10th induction ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Mercer Oaks Country Club in West Windsor.
The event will begin with cocktails and a social hour from 6-7 p.m. and dinner and the induction ceremony to follow from 7-10 p.m. The goal of the committee is to perpetuate the memory of the athletes, teams, coaches and supporters who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence to athletics at Princeton High School. To date, 107 individuals and 15 teams have been honored.
Additionally, on this evening The Friends of Princeton High School Athletics, through the Hall of Fame Committee, will award four PHS student-athletes with $1,000 scholarships to help further their education.
The 2015 Inductees include: Athletes Alan Ammerman ’58, Houston Webber ’68, Bobby King ’74 (deceased), Johnny Morris ’78, Teressa DiPerna, ’86, Dixon Hayes ’00, and Dr. Natalie Gengel ’06. Also honored will be Coach/Athlete Jim Beachell ’64 and the 1975 Field Hockey State Championship Team.
Tickets for the evening are $55 and must be purchased prior to the event. No tickets will be sold at the door.
