EAST WINDSOR: Blue Demons complete undefeated season

The East Windsor Blue Demons completed an undefeated season recently by defeating a tough Brick team to take the USABL Continental South Division Championship.
After being down 2-0 late in the game, the Blue Demons came back in the bottom of the 7th with two outs to win a semifinal playoff game.
The 11 players from the East Windsor/Hightstown area continued their baseball journey this season in a competitive 12U division of USABL on the 60/90 (big field) this fall. They began the season with some impressive wins, continued to develop and progress as a team, and played strong defense. The boys adjusted well to the big field.
Throughout the season, through every game, each player had to overcome some areas on moving from the 50/70 to 60/90 field. Each player had a chance to step on the mound and pitch an inning, the exception for injuries, base running was also key as the 20 extra feet made players run extra hard. As the players continued to grow and excel throughout the season, they all played as a team.
Team members included Christopher Drews, Sean Kane, Aaron Winzinger, Cameron Watkins, Jared Stillwagon, Justin Sabogal, Michael Elgendy, Joshua Rubinstein, Justin Caylo, Andrew Mazurek, and Jonathan Drews. Coaches are David Watkins, Theo Caylo, Ken Sabogal, and David Drews.
