Mrs. McAuliffe, 92, formerly of Metuchen, died Jan. 3, 2014. She worked for New Jersey Bell before being employed by Middlesex County as a telephone supervisor. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene McAuliffe, in 1974; three brothers, Clement, Eugene and Francis; a sister, Rita; and seven half-brothers, James, John, Earl, Leo, Vincent, William and Robert. Surviving are a niece, Eileen Harkins; and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Peter’s R.C. Church, New Brunswick, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by the Boylan Funeral Home, New Brunswick.
