The Robert J. and Deborah A. Chalfin Family Foundation Inc. is accepting scholarship applications from students who will be graduating from high school in 2013. Students interested in applying for the scholarship should go to chalfin.com and click the “Foundation” tab to download an application. The application deadline is May 10.
In 2012, Egypt Pringley-Mack, a graduate of Metuchen High School and now a student at Rutgers University, was awarded a $500 scholarship. Leah Hines, a graduate of Metuchen High School and now a student at Rider University; Elizabeth Klapper, a graduate of Metuchen High School and currently a student at Elizabethtown College; and Emily Lacaskey, a graduate of Metuchen High School and currently a student at The College of New Jersey, were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
The foundation offers scholarships to high school seniors from the Metuchen-Edison area.
