A back-to-school prayer rally will be held 7:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Forum Theater, 314 Main St., Metuchen, hosted by Jim Nevius, pastor of the Acts Church. The purpose of the gathering is to pray for a safe and productive 2009-10 school year for teachers and students.
There also will be musical entertainment. The event is free.
