The Diocese of Metuchen Youth Day, with the theme “Manifest His Glory!,” will take place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 2 at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway.
The event will begin with a concert and keynote address by Tony Melendez, a Nicaraguan American guitar player, composer, singer and songwriter. Melendez was born without arms and has gained national recognition for his musical talent and devotion to his faith.
Following the keynote session, there will be workshops, breakout sessions and time for Eucharistic adoration. The event will conclude with 5 p.m. Mass celebrated by Bishop Paul G. Bootkoski.
The cost of the program is $30 per person (teens and chaperones) before March 4 and $35 per person after March 4. The fee includes lunch, afternoon snack, gifts and more.
