Mrs. Vitale, 93, ofWoodbridge, died May 8, 2008. She was born in Boston and lived in New York for many years. Upon her retirement, she resided in Gulfport, Fla., and most recently at St. Joseph’s Senior Home Assisted Living in Woodbridge. Mrs. Vitale was a manicurist and colorist for local businesses in the New York area. She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas J. Lomeo, in 1961, and by her second husband, Samuel Vitale, in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Sister Marie Francis Lomeo, of the Sisters of the Good Shepard in theWickatunk section ofMarlboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Frances Gambino of Dandridge, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, Ann Tartaglia, and Yolanda LoPriore and her husband Gabe, all of Calverton, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass was celebrated at the Convent Chapel of the Sisters of the Good Shepard, Wickatunk. A private interment of her cremated remains will take place at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y. Arrangements were made by Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
