SOUTH BRUNSWICK — Powder Puff festivities at South Brunswick High School had students showing off their team spirit.
On Nov. 16, football players began outdoor flag football practice with their coaches.
The Spirit Squad brainstormed ideas on how to decorate the school for its biggest charity event of the year. The bridges and offices were covered in green, purple, orange and blue. Each cafeteria represented a theme to get their peers pumped up.
On Nov. 21, four teams gathered to eat together and celebrate their accomplishments.
After three thrilling flag football games, the junior class was triumphant in overtime to end the 2015 Powder Puff tournament.
More than $2,000 in proceeds from the event were donated to No Dogs Get Left Behind, Hope Loves Company and the South Brunswick Food Pantry.
