PHOTOS COURTESY OF KEVIN ZIMMERMAN Kevin Zimmerman, a member of Boy Scout Troop 33 of Milltown, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout for reconstructing a footbridge along the trail system of Farrington Lake in North Brunswick. The bridge, which had been damaged during superstorm Sandy in 2012, had to be demolished before reconstruction could begin. Kevin also cleaned up downed tree limbs in the area and used them to outline the trails around the bridge. In honor of Kevin’s achievement, there will be an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Oct. 4.
