Stroke, osteoporosis screenings offered Feb. 5
Life Line Screening, Trenton, will be at the North Brunswick Township Municipal Building, 710 Hermann Road, Feb. 5 to perform stroke screenings for local residents. Screening appointments will begin at 9 a.m. Screenings are painless, low-cost, and are completed in 10 minutes or less. The screenings use ultrasound technology to scan for problems related to blocked arteries, aortic aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs. Bone density screenings to assess the risk for osteoporosis will also be available. Preregistration is required. For fee information or an appointment, call 1-800-403-7395.
