UPPER FREEHOLD — Monmouth County 4-H is participating in the national spring 2015 4-H Paper Clover Campaign. Individuals may support the 4-H’ers by purchasing a clover at the Tractor Supply Company, 701 Route 524.
The spring 2015 4-H Paper Clover Campaign is taking place now through May 3. Shoppers at the Tractor Supply Company store will have the opportunity to support Monmouth County 4-H by choosing to purchase paper clovers for a $1 or more at the checkout.
All funds raised will be donated to 4-H and will support 4-H youth development programs in many counties and will assist in supporting statewide 4-H animal science project events, according to a press release from Monmouth County.
“To celebrate this campaign, Monmouth County 4-H will host a hot dog barbecue on May 2 from noon to 2 p.m.,” said Roberta Hunter, Monmouth County 4-H agent. “Come out for farm-related games, recite the 4-H pledge during the Clover Day Celebration and receive a free hot dog.”
The barbecue will take place at the Tractor Supply Company store.
The national 4-H council announced the launch of the spring 2015 4-H Paper Clover Campaign in partnership with Tractor Supply Company.
